Plus, that won't work on strange computers where you may use FF or TB portable on a flash drive. That would, unfortunately, be a tad slow as well since it would have to download and edit the profile over the internet. At that point, I could easily point my Firefox or Thunderbird profile to my home profile and I would get everything. I keep considering services like Hamachi, which basically give you a secure tunnel to your entire home network. Too bad they didn't offer more in this area. I even paid for the special nuts mail skins. So here, I need a way to access my contacts! That's my only issue at this point.
Yes, I can usually just use my laptop, but there are always those few times. It's really important for those few times where I'm at someone elses computer. So you've got email, contacts, appts/tasks! That's about all you need.īut online.not quite sure about this yet.
